The mission of this department is through two main parties, namely the elements of learning and the school environment.

As for the elements of learning, they are divided into two parts:

Student: the department aims to measure students' achievement of planned goals through tests and continuous evaluation of cognitive achievement, and acquired skills. In addition to identifying the extent to which students have achieved the goals and took appropriate decisions and recommendations. It also diagnosis the strengths and deficiencies in any element of the educational system. Moreover, it provides students with therapeutic and enrichment programs.

Teachers: The department aims to guide teachers towards the achievement of educational goals, and help them to know the aspects of growth in their students. This is in addition to recommending the teacher to measure their students' progress throughout the year.

As for the educational environment, it is intended for the quality of management and validity of facilities, infrastructure and services in addition to the activities of the school, which ensure a healthy and safe environment for students, teachers and administrative staff. In addition, it provides the development and implementation of the necessary improvement measures in cooperation with all cadres to achieve the highest level of educational work. The educational environment (according to the model of the Turkish Ministry of Education to assess the performance of educational institutions and secondary school, as attached) can be assessed in terms of:

• Educational environment: all facilities in the school, especially the classrooms, are evaluated in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, the availability of tools required for the work of the semester, the appropriate facilities for students with special needs, and the availability of occupational health and safety, especially in relation to risk prevention and contingency plans. Other material facilities such as laboratories and equipment used in the school and the frequent use of equipment in the school is also evaluated.

• Achievement and discipline of the student: the evaluation of academic success in the school by measuring examinations results and assessment of the academic level to maintain the standard or strengthen it if needed. Students' success rates are also monitored and reflected through certificates of honor, class repetitions, etc. This is in addition to the development of studies and implementation of guidance aimed at increasing academic achievement and awareness of students and parents to the importance of keeping absence to a minimum.

• Collaborative projects and studies in the school sector: the school's participation in national and international projects is assessed and whether there are opportunities to apply Erasmus (EU student exchange program), or other patents. In-house training and skills development training are also assessed. In the context of stakeholder relations, their support is also reviewed, such as activities and seminars, student grants and equipment provided to the school.

• Guidance and orientation work: focuses on the extent to which students are aware of harmful habits and what studies are available and efforts to prevent violence. However, the focus is whether students are working on their vision, goals and quality of their studies.

• Social Activity Studies: The participation of our school in cultural, scientific, artistic and sports activities and the success rate within these participations is one of the most important elements of evaluation. In addition to evaluating community service activities and clubs.

• School Health Studies: Our school shall get a white flag certificate and a food certificate. Therefore, the department monitors and evaluates the school's health programs such as diabetes screening and fitness programs, in addition to monitoring the products sold in the school cafeteria according to regular conditions.

• Management: evaluation of the strategic plans of the school, the development quality of studies and the preparation of self-evaluation reports and work plans, in addition to assessing the status of staff and all types of administrative work within the school. On the other hand, management unit is concerned with monitoring the school promotional materials and national media coverage; all this in order to obtain the school's administrative and academic quality certificates required to enhance its eligibility. In general, the main purpose of this section is to determine the direction of the school in achieving its goals, and the extent of progress made by students in this direction, by diagnosing and addressing the difficulties and shortcomings facing both students and teachers or the work environment as a whole.

The evaluation criteria are as follows:

Aljazari Schools Mentoring System is applied starting from the first year of high school until the graduation of our students. Our mentor students, who are selected from different departments through private interviews, take care of our students with whom they form a fraternity bond. Our students communicate with their chosen mentors in line with their development and needs. Our Young Development Advisory Committee supports mentoring practice through training and consultation methods by guiding our mentors within the plan and program.

The mentors, families and teachers have accurate and healthy information about the students through mentors who are interested in our students. Within the scope of PDP, we include the information provided by the mentors to the portfolio files prepared for each of our students. While our mentors are in direct communication with the students under their responsibility, they conduct collective meetings and activities at designated times.

Our students, who provide the experience and level required by the university by providing university experiences, determine their university goals and expectations at an early age. Our students, who make the university a part of life, support academic processes with their business experiences so that they can shape the future by capturing the pace of the 21st century.

Our students, who gain their social relationship skills under the guidance of mentors in accordance with the needs of different environments, position themselves correctly and effectively in social environments.

Our mentors, who support our students academically, also act as role models for the formation of character and personality. Our close-generation mentors, who can communicate with our students' language, support the students morally in organizing relationships and developing behavior.

Our "future college students" benefit from the experience of their mentors who guide them on the path they chose. Our students learn their skills' advantages and disadvantages with their mentors while making career plans. We offer University preferential counseling in our office for our students created by the Psychological Guidance and Counseling Unit. Our department also guides students on the right choices through career guidance, course selection and counseling during the University enrollment.

The profiles created within the PDP that we have developed from the earliest stages of teaching in our school, allow students to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas they want on one hand and guide them following the suitable university preferences on the other. With Aljazari Schools Guidance System, aimed at high school students, our students test their undergraduate experience during high school years and realize their intellectual preferences early on. In light of all this, we support our students' realistic goals for the university by following their examinations in line with their goals and potential.

At the University Counseling Unit, where we provide information to our students and their families, we hold group seminars at regular intervals. We host universities that offer special offers to our school and offer our students individual and group consultations. In addition, our students participate in university preference fairs organized under the supervision of our unit.

Regarding enrollment at the university, the unit transfers the necessary information to students and their families, as well as updated information such as changes in the examination system, the impact of school success on the exam system, and other statistical studies. The Unit also organizes meetings with professionals and academics expert in their fields such as vocational promotion and business experience activities; the University Consulting Unit also provides valuable information on universities and higher education programs, including field visits and meetings with recent graduates.

The university counseling unit also explains the procedures that our students need to pass when registering at the university through seminars, interviews and activities that explain the stages of university admission in a practical and clear way. We also provide information to non-Turkish students about the details of the high school certificate and the YÖS exam along with informing parents of the most important data in this regard. Our school also offer brochures that guide students concerning other international examinations and their accreditation among Turkish universities.

Our unit also keeps track of the numbers of students admitted to the university after taking exams same as SAT exam and offers supportive lessons to those who are interested. In addition, we ensure the availability of the required language certificates according to local universities and the availability of our foreign students and provide supporting language lessons when necessary, in order to strengthen the levels of students who are moving to university. It is also possible, according to personal choice, to only study the preparatory year without taking any language exam and enjoy an exemption from studying additional language courses. Students who submit their exam results such as TOFEL and IELTS can be exempted after assessing their levels. On the other hand, foreign students with Turkish citizenship can register for the YÖS and TYT-AYT exam.

Our university preference counseling is divided into two types: local and international consultancies

Happy & Competent Children

Individuals whose basic needs, as defined per Maslow's hierarchy of needs, are met, form the essence of a value-centered personality while realizing their full potential.

One-to-one interaction with the child during the preschool phase, which is the stage of self-discovery, is of great importance for their personality development.

Being aware of this, Al-Jazari International School considers each student as a gifted individual carrying an endless potential within.

It is our basic practice to give children the opportunity to learn while playing according to their own respective developmental stages and we consider it extremely important for the upbringing of both mentally and physically healthy future generations.

According to our school's most fundamental approach, the teacher represents a guide during the learning process. Recognizing that children have different ways of expressing themselves, we aim to make our students happy individuals who are aware of how they choose to express their thoughts and feelings whether through singing, painting, sculpture, dance, vocal expression and music activities.

This way, arts and sports are highlighted in our school throughout the learning process, which is supported by education and training.

We support the development of personality with the aim of helping our students to be successful individuals, to be able to make their own decisions, to plan their studies and choose their own goals, to work effectively whether individually or in groups andto produce practical solutions when facing problems.
