In the globalizing world, knowledge has become universal, not specific to regional cultures. Education gained an international dimension with the 21st century. Technology, which entered our lives with the industrial revolution and constituted the basic dynamics of social life, made its most important move in the field of education. Cognitive development
has replaced physical power with the technology revolution. Those who have a say in the new world; are generations that think, question, research and produce. With the rapid spread and growth of information, spatial competence areas have been formed. However, an interdisciplinary approach to education
has come to the forefront, as each field has not been able to travel independently. The technology that emerged with the combination of information, technique and flexibility has united the world but separated the individuals. With forgetting of human values, people moved away from their own essence and nature. Man is in search of unity in the psychological, physical and mental sense. When the effects of the transformation in the world on society and the individual are evaluated in a historical context, an international education program is needed. JLP (Aljazari Learning Program) aims to raise a virtuous, happy, productive and social generation for a livable world.
JLP was created as a result of a two-year R&D study with its expert staff from different disciplines. The philosophy of applied education, which has been on the agenda since 2000, is the main element of the JLP program. In addition, teaching learning as a reflection of modern education approach has been adopted. The teacher is not a single source of information, but a guide that guides the student. JLP takes a holistic approach to the student and supports each student's personal development. It aims to ensure that students are individuals who are researching-questioning, sensitive to society and the environment, self-actualized, and approaching diverse people with respect and love.
Being a universal educational approach, JLP has received approval from the Ministry of Education, , Turkey in 2020. Aljazari Learning Program is the umbrella program of Aljazari Educational Institutions training programs. JLP can be integrated with different training programs through its flexible applicability. JLP's basic principles are measurement and evaluation system, holistic development goals, applied education model, discovery of talents and skills, personal and character development and assimilation of universal values.
JLP is designed to enable practical knowledge acquisition to be transformed into production and is implemented in collaboration with relevant universities, educational institutions and professional branches.
There are three basic programs that make up JLP. The DAS (Development-Art-Sports) curriculum, where theoretical training is given, J5 where the practical training is planned, and the personal development program, PDP (personal development program).
JLP is divided into four levels according to age groups. These include the Age of Exploration and Creativity (3-6 years), Socialization stage (6-12 years), Production stage (12-15 years), Identity and Specialization stage (15-18 years). The developmental goal of each period, applied training methods and measurement and evaluation policies are determined according to the objectives of the period.
