To be from Aljazari

The education philosophy of Aljazari International Schools of Science and Technology, which aims to raise virtuous and happy individuals in the nature and universe of human beings, consists of two basic areas. While the first field covers the harmony of the information and technology centered human with the nature, the second field covers the students' being original, active and productive with a culture of living together.

In this framework, our educational philosophy is based on five complementary paradigms:
• Happy generation in inner world, balanced and virtuous generation in social relations,
• A productive generation that uses knowledge and technology as a benefit center with an interdisciplinary methodology for the professions of the future,
• Respectful to the environment, knowing its place in the life cycle, and building its life with renewable energy sources,
• The social generation that transforms the emotional values that form the core of the asset into action with art and sports,
• The original generation that can provide interaction between civilizations with language and cultural accumulation and world fraternity.

Life in Middle School
The education is not limited to lesson hours during the day. Every moment of our students is when they add new information and values to them. With the clock that comes to the school, the time period of our students being fun, exploring and productive begins.

Our lessons are designed from practice to theory in accordance with our understanding of applied education. Our students spend time outside the classroom in laboratories and workshops with flexible educational environments. The students receive support from the counselor teachers in realizing their ideas. With our different types of educational games, students have fun and developing activities in their spare time.

Parents are informed in advance for the activities to be carried out after class hours. Service hours are adjusted according to the events. Middle school students experience real-life experiences through tasks such as maintaining classroom order, working as a library assistant, and helping lower classes. Our students who develop a sense of responsibility become more sensitive to their environment. Our students live together excitement, happiness and virtue in a world where they discover their potential at school.

Our Training Program

The Aljazari Learning Program (JLP) aims to raise a virtuous, happy, productive and social generation for a livable world. JLP is designed to enable practical knowledge acquisition to be transformed into production and is implemented in collaboration with concerned universities, educational institutions and professional branches.

DAS (Development-Art-Sport) program, where JLP theoretical training is given, consists of J5 activities where practical training is planned and PDP, which is a personal development program.

Middle School JLP covers the age range of 12 - 15 and refers to the production period. The physical, emotional and cognitive development goals determined in this stage have shaped the course names and contents. The programs for our students' social activities, club studies, and talent areas are placed in our education program in a balanced way. Practical education that we carry out in kindergarten and primary school is concentrated in the middle school. Our students acquire new skills using laboratories and workshops. Students who are divided into study groups according to their own interests and skills carry out projects in different periods. These interactive studies are planned according to measurement and evaluation criteria. The studies made are included in the scoring system. Students get support from their advisors as they put their ideas into production.

The middle school curriculum includes Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, World History, English, Turkish, Physical Education and Sports, Music, Visual Arts, Information Technologies and Software, Technology and Design, Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge and Career Planning. Students choose elective courses other than the required compulsory courses, periodically or annually. Participation in elective courses can be from different grade levels. In other words, students in the seventh grade and students in the fifth grade can choose the same elective course in the specified courses.

In Information Technologies and Software and Technology and Design courses given in middle school, students develop different ideas by using basic knowledge in technology. By transforming technology into innovation, effective and functional products are designed by our students. With our activities, projects and clubs, our students are given the opportunity to do original work.

Language Education
The greatest function in expressing what they hear belongs to language. The mental meaning of each language is unique and means a new way of thinking. The new language learned improves the child's understanding and self-confidence.

Students who have a basic expression skill in English, Turkish and mother tongue at a young age can think differently and originally from their peers in cognitive sense. Our students are expected to have this skill since early childhood, when language acquisition is the easiest. The ability to understand and comprehend by hearing is gained only through those who can speak that language as their mother tongue. With these sensitivities, our students will have the opportunity to reveal their potential on the path from love to knowledge.

The English course is taught six (6) hours a week. The English education consists of listening, comprehension and internalization skills, which include the student's interpretation by hearing, and grammar studies aimed at expressing the language effectively and meaningfully, and acquiring a proper and correct language. Our students train for international language exams from an early age.

Mathematics, Science, World History, Information Technologies and Software, Technology and Design and Career Planning courses are taught in English. The Social Studies course, which is taught in English in the sixth (6) grade of the middle school, is taught in 5th and 7th grades in Turkish.

Turkish course, which is the social integration language of our school, is three (3) hours a week. Our course, which provides reading, writing and grammar knowledge, is supported by social cohesion courses. In this context, Physical Education and Play, Visual Arts and Music lessons are held in Turkish. J5 activities, which are part of our training program, are planned for language acquisition. Some of the social activities are carried out in Turkish. Our students acquire the language naturally in daily use.

Religious culture and Ethics lessons are taught in Arabic. In addition, three (3) hours of Arabic lessons per week are among our elective courses. Educational activities for reading and writing are held in Arabic lessons. Studies on effective use of language and semantic features are included in middle school.

J5 in Middle School

J5 primary school activities, which are the club and social activity program, are held after school day, on weekends and in some lessons within the curriculum.

Aljazari Schools J5 program is divided into five groups, which constitute our application areas in accordance with the youth profile that our paradigm aims to create.

The Nature of the Child
Nature and living love, which is the main paradigm of Aljazari Schools, becomes a part of our students' lives starting from primary school.

Within the scope of permaculture studies, students who are intertwined with the soil do their own sowing and growing activities. They make animals friendly and take care of them and play games. Students design and develop ideas about recycling activities aimed at gaining environmental and nature awareness. Every student adopts zero waste studies as their own duty. It decomposes food and garbage and restores it to nature.

Our children, who grow up with human love and live, realize social responsibility projects. They delivered the products they designed with the materials they had, and the work they did within the school. According to the theme determined at each grade level, students implement their projects by conducting R&D studies in groups. Annual community service practices are included in the year-end scoring.

Multicultural Education Environment
Aljazari Schools, which set off with the unity of differences and the philosophy of the language of brotherhood, bring love and respect to their students in a multicultural environment. Embracing students from all over the world, Aljazari Schools see diversity as a cultural and cognitive wealth.

It organizes activities and programs to raise students who are aware and respectful that each nation has its own values and beliefs. Understanding the essence of being human, generations that embrace the morality and virtue nationality open to the world from Aljazari Schools.

Values Education
The feelings and thoughts that make up the human can mature with morality and human values. Values such as love, respect, solidarity, sharing, honesty and altruism are provided to our students with our lessons and activities. All of our teachers and members of Aljazari Educational Institutions are role models and create a fraternal climate.

In our institution where Islamic education is given, the principles of Islamic belief and worship, reading the Quran, prophetic lives and basic religious disciplines are taught in secondary school Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge and elective courses.

PDP (Personality Development Program)
PDP applications within the scope of Aljazari Learning Program (JLP) centered on student recognition studies in primary school. Portfolio files are created to identify students with observations, interviews and tests. PDP allows each student to learn and develop individually.

In the elementary school, our psychological counselors work together with classroom teachers who spend a lot of time and emotionally bond. Accurate and effective evaluations are made about the student. Periodic meetings are held with the family, classroom teacher and psychological counselor. At these meetings, the development goals are determined with the approval of the student. Evaluation meetings are held at the end of the period for these targets.

Student Council
Our students whose ideas we value have an active role in the decision-making process of our school. Our assembly, which is composed of 7th and 8th grade students, prepares reports by evaluating the school from different aspects. Within the scope of PDP, our student portfolios created for each of our students are taken into consideration in the establishment of our student councils. The student council has three main functions. These are to represent all students, to evaluate our institution, to offer solutions and suggestions.
