Fostering Global Educational Partnerships: Aljazari’s Historic Agreement with Western Australian Ministry of Education

We are proud to share with you that an official signing ceremony was held between our school Aljazari International School of Science and Technology and the Western Australian Ministry of Education.
 
Following the approval of the Turkish Board of Education and the Ministry of National Education in June for the use of the Western Australian curriculum in Aljazari International School of Science and Technology, an official signing ceremony was held on Thursday, August 17th between Aljazari International School of Science and Technology and the Western Australian Department of Education in Western Australia. The ceremony was attended by David Templeman, Western Australia’s Minister for Culture and Arts; Sport and Recreation; International Education; Heritage; Ersin İşcioğlu and Ebubekir Solmaz, founders of Aljazari International School of Science and Technology; Juanita Healy, Executive Director of Western Australia School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA); and senior diplomats and academics.
 
Minister for International Education Templeman said that the Aljazari International School of Science and Technology is recognized as a leader in English language education in the region and that he looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship.
 
In addition to the Minister’s statements, Ersin İşcioğlu, Founder of Aljazari International School of Science and Technology, stated that “this step taken in educational diplomacy will pave the way for the establishment of good relations between the two countries, Turkey and Australia have common ground as multicultural and multinational countries, and that this step taken will contribute to international education studies in the near future.”
 
Ebubekir Solmaz, the co-founder of the school, stated that “the Western Australia program is not just about studying for a limited period of time; it will also provide the graduates with the opportunity to take part in education and working life in different sectors in Turkey, as well as career opportunities in different fields in Australia.”
