Criteria for the Holy Quran Competition:
For the first grade: 5 chapters of Recitation and pronunciation(tajweed)
The second grade: 6 chapters of recitation and pronunciation.
Third grade: 7 chapters of recitation and pronunciation.
Fourth grade: 8 chapters of recitation and pronunciation.
The score which is out of 100 is distributed as follows:
4 questions, 20 points for each. In addition to 10 points for pronunciation (Tajweed) and 10 points for intonation.
The assessment is made by 3 arbitrators, each of whom gives a different evaluation. Students are not corrected or reminded of the first mistake. Rather, they are alerted twice and then the grade deduction starts in the third time.
The ten points of performance are divided as follows: 3 points for stopping and starting, 3 points for starting with no-hesitation, two points for recitation consistency, and two points for good voice, and the poinys of intonation are also divided as follows: two points for noon sakın, two points for meem sakin, two points for meem and nun with shadda, two points for phonex(makharij) , and two points of prolonging(modood).
The arbitrator does not choose the questions directed to the student. Rather, they are randomly selected by the computer to ensure integrity and transparency, as the models are equal in terms of difficulty and ease coefficient.
