Individuals whose basic needs, as defined per Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, are met, form the essence of a value-centered personality while realizing their full potential.
One-to-one interaction with the child during the preschool phase, which is the stage of self-discovery, is of great importance for their personality development.
Being aware of this, Aljazari International School considers each student as a gifted individual carrying an endless potential within. It is our basic practice to give children the opportunity to learn while playing according to their own respective developmental stages and we consider it extremely important for the upbringing of both mentally and physically healthy future generations.
According to our school’s most fundamental approach, the teacher represents a guide during the learning process. Recognizing that children have different ways of expressing themselves, we aim to make our students happy individuals who are aware of how they choose to express their thoughts and feelings whether through singing, painting, sculpture, dance, vocal expression and music activities.
This way, arts and sports are highlighted in our school throughout the learning process, which is supported by education and training.
We support the development of personality with the aim of helping our students to be successful individuals, to be able to make their own decisions, to plan their studies and choose their own goals, to work effectively whether individually or in groups andto produce practical solutions when facing problems.

J5: Fields of application
At Al Jazari International School, we believe that parents and teachers must embrace students in a common environment that inspires them all to collaborate in a variety of extracurricular activities. The most important of these activities relate to fields such as technology, arts, literature, environment and sports. We have therefore made the creation of these events one of our goals in order to raise a generation of happy, balanced and bright individuals.
We divided these activities into five age groups, taking into account class hours and clubs, with the aim of forming the young personality as envisaged by Aljazari International School. On the other hand, we aim from these events to train our students to acquire the skills of the twenty-first century, the most important of which are:
• Technology-centered learning using innovative mind-based algorithms:
J-Tech, living in complete peace with the environment and its natural components and treating all beings gently and caringly,
J-Trail, the application of theoretically acquired knowledge within applicable exertions,
J -TT, the expression of one’s beliefs and opinions in a responsible and appropriate language and a manner that suits their social milieu,

The journey towards IB World School status involves meticulous evaluation and alignment with the IB framework. Aljazari International School is actively engaging in professional development, creating an environment that promotes international-mindedness, and shaping a shared vision for educational excellence.
Aljazari accepts the fact that language performs the biggest function when it comes to making sense of what one hears and thus shapes its programs with the understanding that every language means a new way of thinking.
Our students, having learned at a young age to express themselves on a basic level in Turkish, English and Arabic, cognitively think differently and more original than their peers. We aim for out students to acquire this skill during early childhood, where it is the easiest for them to learn a new language.
Because we believe that the ability to give meaning by hearing and comprehension can only be gained with the help of those who speak that language as their native tongue, we pay great importance to our teachers’ native language.
With the help of effective teaching methods our students get to chance to internalise rather than perceive learning as obligatory classes. In this context, a second language is included naturally into the students’ everyday life with the help of the half time method.
Because our students get to know their new language in different circumstances, from games to activities, these languages will be engraved into their minds.
On this road from love to knowledge, our students will find the opportunity to reveal their true potentials.
Our students get to learn about different branches of art by testing colours, designs, painting techniques and various instruments:
1. Science festivals
2. Water sports
3. Chess
4. Mind games
5. Set daily and weekly activities
6. Drama activities
7. Cultural trips and expeditions in nature
8. Cooking workshops
9. Art activities
10. Painting canvases
11. Social responsibility awareness
Aljazari International School perceive sports activities as one of the most important stages of mental development. With basic skills such as balance, coordination, flexibility, control of objects etc. we aim to stimulate the development of eye-hand coordination skills. Activity and movement are ways for children to discover themselves while at the same time they gain the benefits on their health while playing.
Sportive movements allow children to breathe better which makes for more energetic and happier children.
With the use of the Kidsfit method our students will have their monthly sports activities reports released, according to which next month’s program is planned, so every students will have a program based on their needs and capacities.
During summer and winter time, sports activities are held both outside and inside in specially prepared environments.
Our students are introduced to different types and branches of sports every two months so that they are able to discover themselves and figure out which sport suites them best.
Individuals living in tune with nature, true to their own unique nature
Aljazari International School believe that children raised in a happy and and healthy way are the foundation of a healthy and conscious society.
By injecting kids with a healthy dose of love for nature and animals, we stimulate them to both have a more positive state of mind and facilitate their learning of counting, colours, fruit and vegetables while playing in our garden.
As part of our environmental activities, the children get to spend lots of time in nature and thus, by coming into contact with beings such as butterflies, worms, ants, etc. learn to respect nature.
Our students will grow up to be adults capable of taking care of themselves in nature, that are aware of the fact that our resources aren’t limitless and of the need to produce new sources constantly, adults that are respectful and loving towards humans, animals and nature alike.
The freedom they experience in nature helps develop a sense of belonging and of responsibility, shaping their everyday life in a positive way.
We offer our students the chance to steer themselves according to their curiosity by allowing them to discover and learn in nature.
In our animal and plant workshops we let them come into contact with nature frequently as well.
